The European Finance Convention – a well-established SME in the financial conference sector – is seeking a Conference Project Manager looking for a new challenge offering career prospects.

You will play a key role in all aspects of conference organising, including working out a programme, selecting and contacting speakers, and co-ordinating, the logistical aspects of your conference.

The role also includes to a large extent identifying, visiting, contacting and liaising with potential sponsors. Most of them are involved in financially-related businesses such as banks, consultants, legal firms, IT services providers, exchanges, brokers, etc. You will therefore be required to have marketing skills in this specific environment, to be highly independent and to have proven experience.

You will be based either in Brussels or in your own country of residence (possibly at your own location) and travelling frequently abroad. Fluency and perfect drafting capabilities in English are a must, computer literacy is important and ability to work under deadline pressure is an additional asset.
